Cancellation, Return, and Refund

Cancellations

Cancellations are only accepted for full-priced items, within 60 minutes after an order is placed.  Please if you have to cancel your order for any reason reach out to us immediately at contact@thehouseoftreasures.com if you are able to cancel within the given time frame.  We process orders as quickly as possible so cancellations are time sensitive.

If your order has already left our warehouse, we can no longer assist you with a cancellation for your order.

 

If you wish to cancel your order, please submit a cancellation request via email at info@thehouseoftreasures.com 

Your cancellation request must include the following information: 

  • Your order number (order number should begin with “US-1628”)
  • The name and email address used to place the order
  • Reason of cancellation

 

Please note; due to privacy and security concerns, we can only process a cancellation request sent to us at info@thehouseoftreasures.com

Cancellation requests cannot be submitted by phone, social media or alternative email addresses.

 

 

Return

  • Return the new, unopened items to us within 14 calendar days of delivery.
  • Simply contact our support team at contact@thehouseoftreasures.com if you have any questions regarding your return.
  • For any product valued over $75 you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
  • Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.
  • Please be considerate when placing your order to choose the correct size, color, etc. of your product to avoid any returns for exchanges.
  • Cannot accept returns via rejected or refused packages, abandoned packages, and packages returned outside of the designated return process (Please see above for designated return process).

What CANNOT be returned:

  • Seasonal goods
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Health and personal care items
  • Custom made nature of some of our handmade products

The following information is needed to process your request:

  • Your order number
  • The name and email address used to place the order
  • Reasons for return

When our customer service has processed your return request, they will provide you the return address. 

 

Refunds


Once your cancellation has successfully been processed, or your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you about your refund.
Your refund will be processed to your original method of payment, within 1-2 working days.

Alternatively, we can offer the value as store credit for our website.

 

Terms & Conditions:

  • We encourage customers to carefully read our Returns Policy and to please make sure all the items are eligible for return to avoid disappointment.
  • We only provide store credit for items purchased with a discount or discount code of 25% or more, from our full retail price.
  • Due to the custom made nature of some of our handmade products we can not accept returns/exchanges or offer refunds for any handmade item.
  • Refunds or store credit will be issued within 30 days from the date we receive your return at our return address (listed above).
  • You have 14 calendar days from the date your receive your order to initiate and return your item(s) for a refund or store credit. Any returns not made within this window will be rejected.
  • Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.
  • We provide a refund to your original payment method for all full-priced items.
  • Exchanges are provided through store credit for eligible items only.
  • We do not provide a return label or pay for returns shipping.
  • Items must be in their brand-new, unused condition and original packaging to be eligible for a refund.
  • Items returned to us that are not eligible for a refund or store credit will be discarded or sent back to you at your own expense.
  • All items purchased with a gift card or store credit are not eligible for return. Gift cards purchased and store credit issued by Inspire Uplift cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • All shipping charges and governmental taxes are non-refundable.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, here are the steps you can take:

  • Check your bank or PayPal balance again (transactions may have been delayed).
  • Contact your credit card company (it may take some time before your refund is officially posted, as it may take up to 3-5 business days for them to process the credit).
  • Contact your bank (check the processing time before a refund is posted).
